A Qiuet Night Under The Stars

Silverclaw stared at Howlingbreath went back into the den. "I think we should too." he said to Shaderain. He looked back up at the sky and smiled he had finally fallen in love. "This is the best day of my life." he thought to himself. Silverclaw then looked towards the den. He laid his tail on Shaderain's back.

Purring gently, Shadedrain flicked her tail on Silverclaw's shoulder then got up to stretch. She stared at the sky for a moment more an then looked back to Silverclaw with a loving expression on her face, "Shall we go then?", she asked sweetly then flicking her tail towards to den.

Silverclaw looked back at Shaderain lovingly "Yes we shall." he said sweetly his tail flicked a little bug off her shoulder. He looked up at the stars and whispered to low for Shaderain to here "Thank you Starclan for teaching me love." his voice was so sweet and low. "I love her so much. She is the apple of my eye." he thought to himself

Shadedrain padded back into the den with Silverclaw, she looked for Howlingbreath an saw his two glowing amber eyes from the shadows of the den. Shadedrain curled up in her nest beside Silverclaw an qiuckly fell asleep, knowing her life wouldn't be the same after this.

Silverclaw followed her and curled up next to her quickly falling asleep.

Silverclaw awoke the next morning feeling refreshed. He stood up and stretched everything that happened last night coming back to him. Silverclaw put a smile on his face and looked down at Shaderain. He walked past all the sleeping cats and padded out into the clearing. Silverclaw padded over to the log infront of the warriors den and sat down giving himself a quick grooming.

Owlwing padded over to where Silverclaw was grooming himself, "Good morning Silverclaw", he meowed with a nice expression in his blue eyes. "So, Howlingbreath told me at early sunrise you an Shadedrain were together last night".

Silverclaw bowed his head to Owlwing "Hello Owlwing. Yes we were together last night." he said politely. He looked into the den and smiled then looked back at Owlwing. "So how is your medicine cat training doing?" he asked curiously.Silverclaw stared into Owlwings sightless blue eyes and felt symphony for the young apprentice

"Rather pleasant actualy, an I'm happy that Frostflower isn't going easy on me because of my blindness", Owlwing laughed abit then became serious, "Your lucky, Shadedrain is a good she-cat. But, I'd watch out if I were you, Howlingbreath may not keep in much touch with us, but he is our brother an i can tell he feels a need to watchout for us. He's always been rather protective of us".

"Thats nice, and I know." he said the last part a little glummly but then perked up to his usually happy self. Silverclaw's tail was swaying in the slight breeze and a smile came onto his face "I hope he isn't suggesting that I stay away from Shaderain." he thought to himslef dreadfully.

Owlwing started to feel Silverclaw's uneasyness, "But don't get worried about it, Howlingbreath will see you can take care of our sister", he added to try an make Silverclaw happier.

"Your right he probably will." he said happily. Silverclaw looked into Owlwings blue eyes and knew he was telling the truth. "Thank Starclan he isn''t suggesting that." he thought so happily he almost yowled it out loud

Owlwing laughed alittle, "Howlingbreath is good cat don't get me wrong, but... he just needs to see that his siblings can care for themselves".

Shadedrain padded out of the den looking for Silverclaw, her electric blue eyes full of energy an exitment. She saw him talking with Owlwing an ran over to them, "Good morning Silverclaw, and Owlwing", she said happily.

Silverclaw let out a little Mreow of laughter then turned to see his mate padding over to them. "Hello Shaderain." he said happily. He laid his tail on her shoulders and smiled. Silverclaw had never felt so alive around any other cat before. "Shaderain sure changed my life for the better." he thought happily to himslef.

Owlwing could sense the two cat's love for each other, "Good morning Shadedrain", he said sweetly to his sister.

Shadedrain licked the side of Silverclaw's face happily, "How are you two this morning?".

Silverclaw smiled at her " We are doing great just having a little chat." he said his amber eyes glowing with love and pride. His tail flicked back and forth as he heard excited squeals coming from the nursery. "The kits are coming." he said a happily.

Sure enough Graykit and Mosskit bolted out of the nursery and ran towards them "Shaderain, Silverclaw we are becoming apprentices in two moons isn't that exciting!" they squealed with joy and bounced up and down.

Foxcloud padded out of the nursery to were her kits were bouncing up and down. "Good morning Silverclaw, Shaderain, and Owlwing." she said politely.
