It was dark and quiet, Cloudpelt had had trouble sleeping and she had decided to come out and sit in the traing hollow and just looked up at the silverpelt. it was a clear crisp night with a slight chill to the wind which had cloudpelt ruffling her usually flat sleek fur up to make herself warmer, but it wasnt working so well.
She didn;t mind though she was thinking about things, wishing she had an apprentice to train and spend time with for now she didnt and it was quite boring.

Owlwing padded into the apprentices clearing, having no idea why, he was upset from of course being blind. He smelled another cat in the clearing an knew it was Cloudpelt, "Hello Cloudpelt", he said padding up to her trying to sound as happy as he could.

"Good night Owlwing"
She said with a purr, she turned to face him her tail swishing behind her, she felt slightly sadded too but not too much so, she was more lonely than sad, which was silly since she was the member of a large clan of like minded and friendly cats.

"What have you done today? anything new to learn most be interesting to be a medicine cat"
She said looking at him from where she was sat. she licked her right paw and passed it over her whiskers looking back up at the silver pelt. she was wondering if her warrior ancestors knew anything about her, her destiny perhaps.

"Sorting herbs isn't exactly interesting, and I still wonder if StarClan planned for me to become blind", he said wishing he could see. He wrapped his long tail around his pudgy body an sighed.

She sighed and walked closer sitting beside him she licked his ear trying to comfort him.
"Everything happens for a reason,"
She wished there was more the could say to make him feel better but she was at a loss. She let her long tail rest on his shoulders as she looked up at at the twinkling stars.
