Featherclaw nodded, "Im sure your doing a great job, though Im sure it has to be stressful learning all of the herbs." she said before gulping down the last of her frog. She always knew she wasn't cut out to be a medicine cat, the stress of knowing every cat in the clan depended on you to keep you healthy, plus interpeting the signs from Starclan. She would never be able to do that, she thought it was stressful enough being a warrior.

"It can be," he mewed hesitantly, then ventured forward watching her swallow the rest of the frog he had brought her earlier, "Sometimes I wonder if I'm the right cat, though. Like, maybe Starclan might not want me to be a medicine cat..." Wolfpaw sighed quietly, thinking of all the things he might miss because he wasn't a warrior, but then he reminded him of all the great things he could do as a medicine cat. He was fighting for his clan in a different way from Featherclaw and the other warriors.

Featherclaw frowned after he spoke, "Of course your the right cat! Starclan chose you special, over everyone of the other kits, you have to have a certain gift to be a medicine cat. Wolfpaw, you are wise and caring, your the perfect choice for Medicine cat." she said with a smile, she believed everything she said fully. She smiled and leaned over and licked him on the top of his head comfortingly, "You have to believe in yourself more." she said before lying down.

Wolfpaw's fur burned again as Featherclaw licked his head. For a moment, he wished he was a kit again so the burden of being a medicine cat wouldn't be his to carry. "It's easier to believe in other cats," he purred, wrapping his tail around his small frame, though he sat up a little straighter at her words. "I'm just worried I won't be able to understand Starclan's signs, or I won't get any," he added, half to himself, then meowed quickly and honestly, but I will try."

Featherclaw smiled and laughed a little, "Oh Wolfpaw, you know your are the only one in the clan who thinks that." she meowed comfortingly. "Everyone knows you are perfect to be the next medicine cat, you wouldn't be training as one unless starclan wanted you to, have you been to moonstone yet?" she asked curiously, if he hadn't gone to moonstone yet that would explain the young cats anxiety.

He perked up at her laughter, and let a small purr escape his mouth. "No," he meowed sadly, "I haven't. Not yet." Wolfpaw pricked his ears back up and looked around the camp. "Do you think I'll get to go soon? I wonder what'll happen..." His wide yellow eyes searched the sky for the moon, suddenly falling silent in his search.

Featherclaw nodded, "Dont worry you'll get to go soon enough, then everything will make sense." she said comfortingly, then she yawned. It had been a long day for her she had been out on patrol twice that day and it was starting to catch up with her. She turned to him as he continued his search, "I think its about quater moon until the medicine cats meet again." she said looking at the moon.

"I wonder what will happen while I'm there," he sighed, his pelt prickling with excitment. Shaking his head, Wolfpaw snapped back to the present and looked at the moon again. "That's so far away," Wolfpaw almost whined then snapped his mouth shut. He needed to work on his patiences, defintally, Wolfpaw thought wincing inwardly. [My muuuse! Dx it went poof. D=]
