Flamestripe felt a little disheartened today her pelt was ungroomed and looked dull and that was not like flampstripe her pelt was her pride and joy. She lay just outside the warriors den her head on her paws. she had an untouched lizard beside her she had gotten from the fresh kill pile but she didn't feel like eating. She didn't know what was wrong but she would not let any of the others know she felt this way.

Streamclaw padded quietly over to where Flamestripe was sitting. The ShadowClan warrior sat down a polite distance away and mewed, "Hello Flamestripe." Streamclaw didn't know Flamestripe very well, and she had always been kind of quiet, so she didn't say anything else. Instead, Streamclaw began licking her short black pelt clean.

Flamestripe was not a very social cat, she mostly kept to herself unless she was insulting another warrior or making an apprentice feel bad, not that she was a bad cat but she was more typical to the stories about shadowclan cats than most were.
She grunted in response and stood up stretching out her back legs looking at the lizard she picked it up and walked over dropping it infront of Streamclaw.
"I'm not hungry"
She said before sitting down again in her spot.

Streamclaw looked at Flamestripe in surprise, but just said, "Thanks," and took a bite. The black she-cat knew that Flamestripe was a bit... anti-social, and had sort of expected to get her ear clawed off for sitting by her. Not that I'm complaining, she thought, and took another bite of lizard.

Flamestripe felt antsy all of a sudden, she wanted to do something. There wasnt anything to do though, maybe she should go out hunting, but there was enough fresh kill and a party was out already and since she wasnt hungry what use would that be.
"Something to do"
She said with a sigh digging her claws into the earth.

Streamclaw finished the lizard, also trying to think of something to do. "Perhaps we could just go for a walk in the territory," Streamclaw suggested. The black she-cat instantly regretted it. She was probably talking to herself, not me, Streamclaw thought, whiskers twitching in embarrassment as she waited for Flamestripe to say that she wasn't invited, or something along those lines.

Flamestripe looked at the other cat and her eyes looked her over, she hadnt been speaking to her but she was the first cat to ever actually suggest doing something with flamestripe. Maybe hunting would be a bit better it wouldnt be as awkward.
"Do you fancy going hunting, i know we have some fresh kill but a little more never hurt"
She said looking towards the entrance to the camp.

Streamclaw looked at Flamestripe in surprise, but recovered quickly and nodded. "Fine by me," Streamclaw mewed, getting to her paws and rolling the muscles in her shoulders. The black she-cat paused to look around the clearing. Her sister, Emberstar, was nowhere to be seen. I suppose she's out hunting, too, Streamclaw thought, with just a little pang of jealousy that her sister hadn't asked her to come with.
