Flamestripe was out away from camp, she was not really doing anything important she hadnt been chosen for a patrol or hunting party so she had decided to just go out in the forest and have a nose around.
She had ended up sitting in a small clearing watching the wind blow through the trees. Her tails wished impatiently and her ears twitched as she heard something behind her.

Eagletalon stepped out of the trees, he had smelled Flamestripe's trail and followed it to here. He had just finnished hunting patrol, and felt curious when he smelled her trail. Eagletalon didn't know if they were friends but he respected her. He stopped at the edge of the clearing, he opened his mouth but he couldn't seem to think of anything to say so he closed it again and waited for her to speak. |

Flamestripe was known for her harsh tongue and her bad temper, she was a difficult cat to get along with and not one you wanted to make an enemy of. she turned to face Eagletalon and looked him over before she licked her right paw and passed if over her whiskers, she wondered why he had bothered to follow her out here.

"I could just stare,"
He said a bit aquardly, and took a few more steps forward bringing him over to her. He glanced around,
"Do you wander offen?"
He asked, he was a bit bored and seeing her there just made the day more intresting. He didn't mind it when cats were rude to him, he could handle it. |

"As often as i want to, what's it got to do with you?"
She said to him scowling she was clearly unhappy with his presence but most cats knew she was never really happy to see anyone. She flicked her tail irritably again and turned looking away form him out over the forst floor, she coudl hear sounds in the under growth but she didint see like hunting anything.

Eagletalon shrugged her comment off, and continued to walk around the clearing. He looked into the forest towards the marsh but all he saw was dead water weeds and more forest,
"The marsh is drying up..." he said a bit conceridly. He looked over to see if she had any reaction to the dry marsh and the scary new prophacy looming ahead of the clans. |

Flamestripe didn't pay alot of attention to the happenings around her, she might have been a cruel and vicious cat but she trusted starclan completely. She knew things worked out sooner or later and to get through you had ot be strong. She was a strong cat.
"Prey is getting thinner, but worse things have come before now"
She said dismissivly to him. She lay down in a patch of sunlight that broke through the canopy and felt the warm sun on her fiery coat.

Eagletalon nodded and his thoughts driffed back to the weeks of way too much water, and now there wasn't going to be enough. A sharp pungunt smell snapped him out of his memories, he let out a low growl spinning over to where it was coming from. He snarled at the bushes, and took a step forward barring his teeth. |
