Speckledpaw lay next to her two brothers, Runningpaw and Birchpaw, listening to them talk about training and throwing in a few comments of her own. Mostly, though, the RiverClan apprentice just watched the clan settling down.
Birchpaw glanced at his sister, who was watching the other cats in the clan. The silver tabby shrugged to himself, and turned back to Runningpaw. "Well, I learned how to do the leap-and-hold move today," he said, wondering if Runningpaw had learned that one yet.
Runningpaw smiled. "I learned that yesterday. Today we just reviewed it and then went for a hunt," he told his brother. The red tom suddenly needed to contain his energy somehow, and leaped up, attacked a leaf, and sat back down. He looked a little confused, as though wondering why he had done that. Runningpaw glared at his siblings as they laughed openly at him.
