I don't have a name for it yet but heres the start of the story
Betosa woke suddenly, he stood straight up looking around him, where was he? The last thing he remembered was being chased by humans, now he was in the middle of a forest and rain was pouring down. He spun around and saw a break in the trees, he ran for it, jumping over a fallen tree and lowering himself to go under a large vine, thunder cracked behind him making him stop for an instance. He started panting, another thing he didn't understand was why it was so hot here, last he remembered it was snowing and cold, now it was hot and humid. He shook his head, hopefully he would have more answers one he got out of this thick jungle. He was close to the threshold now and he leapt the last few feet out into the open, it was pitch black out and he couldn't see very far, but he did see what looked like the edge of a gorge only feet away. He stood panting for a second, the only thing he figured this could be was a dream, but this didn't feel like a dream and he didn't think that was what was happening. A bolt of lightning interrupted his thoughts, it struck several miles in front of him lighting up the area and he realized with a sudden sense of dread what was happening. The scene that appeared before him was a large lush Island with nothing but ocean beyond it, he was on a small plateau above the rest of the Island.
Betosa threw his head back in a howl, maybe the rest of his pack was here as well, he thought hopefully. After a second his call was answered from all over the Island, none of the howls were familiar, he stopped howling and after a few seconds the rain stopped. The realization of what was happening hit him like a brick, the humans must have taken him, he was stranded on some strange island without anyone he knew. His family, his friends, they were all gone.
Betosa shook his pelt roughly, trying to get most of the water out, he walked over to a large pile of stones and started sniffing it, there were no other wolves here so he went inside a crevice he found. It was nice and dry inside so he laid down. What would he do know, he had always lived with a pack and now this? Why would humans do something like this, he was fine where he was and he was sure that so was everyone else who was stuck on this Island. He felt as like a pup, scared confused and vulnerable, he didn't like not knowing what was going on, and most of all he felt so alone. He wanted to go and howl until his voice would last no longer, but he also felt drained as though losing his pack had drained all of his strength so he laid down, deciding that he would sleep for a while and try to find out more in the morning.
He was stranded and alone what else could he do?
